The Forsaken one

In a small town,
A distant valley,
The wailing broke the silence,
A new born,
A pretty girl,
ope'd her eyes,
In the midst of Autumn.

Bright hazel colored eyes,
Stealing the hearts,
Of All who upon her gazed,
Her gurgling chuckles,
Her head of golden hair,
Her toothless smile,
Her parents dream come true.

They knew she would be special,
Different from the rest,
But li'l did they know,
Her life wouldn't be without suffering,
The initial years of her life,
She served and helped her fellow beings,
But the time for trial soon arrived.

She knew all along,
She was the forsaken one,
She was the forsaken nobody...
She wept and prayed,
While her friends didn't understand,
The turmoil that she was in,
The agony in her mind.

And then like Judas,
He betrayed her,
Inspite of all she had done for him,
He gave her the vicious kiss on her cheek,
And let the traitors take her prisoner,
For trivial goods like thirty pieces of silver,
In this case to prove his manhood.

They chained her,
Stripped her of her honour,
Flayed her with invisible whips,
Insulted her, spat upon her,
Cursed her for all the good she had done,
And then they crowned her with thorns,
The way that Christ was crowned.

Each friend turned foe,
Took turns to add a thorn to her crown,
Those who didn't join them,
Ran off for fear of being flayed,
And denied that they ever knew her,
Atleast she now knew,
Who she could call her own.

And then they Crucified her,
The Forsaken one...
And while she suffered,
Mocked her,
But li'l did they know.
That she would rise AGAIN,
BETTER THAN BEFORE...!!!
